HLT33015 - Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance
This qualification reflects the role of allied health assistants who support allied health professionals such as Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists under predetermined guidelines. Depending on the setting, work may include following treatment plans for therapeutic interventions and/or conducting programs under the regular direct, indirect or remote supervision of an allied health professional. Duration: All study at DIVTEC is self-paced. We anticipate that the majority of students will complete this course within 12mths on a part-time basis.
Entry Requirements: There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, all students will be required to complete language, literacy and numeracy activities upon enrolment. You will need to demonstrate a sound ability to read, write and understand the English language and use everyday mathematical problem solving strategies.
You will be required to complete 80hrs of vocational placement to achieve the practical aspects of the course. Practical placement can be arranged with DIVTEC host employers or another approved workplace.
Units: 11 Units - 8 Core and 3 Electives.
