First Aid and CPR Training

We believe in the value of face-to-face small group training. To deliver the best experience possible, we are now running monthly workshops for students to practice valuable, life saving skills in a safe and hands-on environment.

Learn first aid and save a life!

Online pre-learning activities are available for you to complete in your own time, at your own pace. You will review the current guidelines, listen to our experienced assessors talk about their experience and complete four online quizzes to test your knowledge before attending the workshop.

 

During the practical workshop, you will be shown (and get to practice) bandaging techniques, wound care and the all important CPR rhythm. We want you to leave the workshop feeling confident and capable, so you will also be asked to participate in a number of simulated 'emergency' situations. 

Our training covers two Units of Competency:
